This is the time when they usually come out so you do not need to flush them out that much with the dogs. The weedy open lands is the best place to look for them. This is where they can take cover from most of their predators. Now, try not to make too much noise so that you will not scare the quails away once you have found the perfect spot. Chances are the quail will fly away only when you are really near if you approach calmly.
