In the past, a very long and arduous process would begin when you decided if was time to store your stuff somewhere other than the rarely used basement. The first step was finding and renting a self storage shed. Then, you have to load a truck and lug all your possessions to the self storage facility. All items, big, small, heavy, and light would have to be dragged into the self storage shed. As if this process wasn't enough of a deterrent for you, consider that your self storage facility will most likely be located at least several miles from your house.
